Job Summary

Part Time
The Ultrasonographer plays a crucial role in the healthcare team, specializing in the use of ultrasound technology to assist in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions. This position requires a keen understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in sonography techniques. The Ultrasonographer will work closely with patients, providing high-quality imaging services while ensuring comfort and care throughout the process.

Duties

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients
Utilize advanced medical imaging techniques to capture high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.
Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and anatomy to accurately assess patient conditions.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and prevent infection during procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
Provide clear communication to patients regarding procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable.
Document all imaging results accurately in patient records, adhering to established protocols for data management.
Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and sonography practices.

Skills

Comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to ultrasound diagnostics.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
