Full Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to join our team at ReVosWel Truss & Lumber. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth daily operation of office functions including administrative support, inventory coordination, customer service, and vendor communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and comfortable in a fast-paced, construction-focused retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, delivery slips, customer records, and employee files.
Answer and direct incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally.
Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence as needed.
Customer Service:
Greet and assist walk-in customers and handle front-desk inquiries.
Process sales orders, returns, and exchanges using POS or ERP systems.
Resolve customer issues or escalate them appropriately.

Inventory & Purchasing Coordination:

Assist with inventory management by inputting received goods and reconciling discrepancies.
Coordinate with suppliers for order placements, delivery schedules, and backorders.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data is updated in internal systems.

Accounting & Financial Tasks:

Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
Reconcile receipts, prepare bank deposits, and assist with payroll data collection.
Track and follow up on outstanding customer payments.

Office & Facility Management:

Order office and breakroom supplies.
Coordinate maintenance and repairs of office equipment.
Support compliance with health, safety, and security protocols.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in office administration, preferably in a retail or construction-related environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with inventory or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or POS/ERP systems) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
