Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in care of the elderly, particularly in settings such as in home care. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients, allowing them to maintain independence while receiving the care they need.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Medication reminders as prescribed.
Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate healthcare personnel.
Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
Support clients with transportation needs for appointments or errands when necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as in home care is preferred.
Familiarity with working in various healthcare settings is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to pass background checks including motor vehicle report, reference checks, and drug screening prior to hire. Must adhere to all safety protocols in the home environment.
Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to accommodate client schedules.
