Full Job Description

Westbury Toyota corporate office is now seeking a Full-Time Billing/Title Clerk to assist in accurately preparing and processing vehicle sales invoices, reconciling dealer trades, verifying deal paperwork, and supporting the accounting department with various administrative tasks. Must be available to work on Saturdays, work schedule will be as follows: off on Sundays and one day during the week. The pay rate is $20-$27 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare and post vehicle sales invoices.
Verify all deal documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Reconcile schedules such as vehicle receivables, contracts in transit, and floorplan.
Process dealer trades, wholesale transactions, and internal billing.
Communicate with the sales and finance departments to resolve discrepancies.
Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
Prepares tag and title documents.
Ensure the accuracy of the deal paperwork in the DMS.
Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder is placed on all title applications.
Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
Maintain accurate records and perform general office duties as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in billing or accounting.
Previous automotive billing experience is a big plus.
Must be available to work Saturdays.
Highly organized, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
