Full Job Description

Part-Time Baker

We are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic part-time baker to join our DeBeen Team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with food and coffee, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn. No prior baking experience is required—we are happy to provide training for the right candidate.

About DeBeen Espresso
Our cafe has been a High Point name for almost 30 years! We are coffee focused with an in-house vegan bakery specializing in simple pastries, baked goods, and grab-and-go items. Our goal is to provide fresh, high-quality products that pair perfectly with our coffee offerings.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of vegan pastries and baked goods
Follow recipes and production schedules
Assist with food preparation and packaging of grab-and-go items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking areas
Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate supply needs
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Work efficiently to ensure products are ready for daily service

Qualifications

No baking experience required; training will be provided
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and stay organized
Strong attention to detail
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds

Schedule

Part-time hours
Early morning availability preferred
Weekend availability
