Full Job Description

CT/X-Ray Technologist

Location: Greensboro, NC 27410
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks with Possible Extension

Shift: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Schedule: Friday – Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Floating: May occasionally be required to float to other facilities based on operational needs.
First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and versatile CT/X-Ray Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role requires a highly skilled technologist who is proficient in both Computed Tomography and General X-Ray and is comfortable working with adult, pediatric, outpatient, and Emergency Department patients.

The ideal candidate will have strong IV placement skills, experience with Siemens imaging equipment, PACS, Epic, and portable imaging, along with the ability to perform a wide range of diagnostic CT and X-Ray examinations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT and General X-Ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
Provide imaging services for adult, pediatric, outpatient, and Emergency Department patients.
Independently start and maintain IV access for contrast-enhanced procedures, averaging approximately 8–9 IV starts per day.
Screen patients for contraindications and ensure appropriate preparation for imaging procedures.
Administer contrast agents in accordance with facility policies and safety protocols.
Operate Siemens CT imaging equipment and related imaging technology.
Perform portable X-Ray examinations as needed.
Utilize PACS and Epic for image management, documentation, and workflow.
Evaluate image quality and perform additional imaging as necessary.
Maintain patient safety, radiation safety, infection prevention, and quality standards.
Assist with cardiac CT and specialized imaging procedures.
Float to other facilities occasionally as required.

X-Ray Experience Required

Candidates must have experience performing:

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of CT/X-Ray Technologist experience – Required.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

BLS Certification – Required.

Strong IV insertion skills – Required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with infants and pediatric patients.
