Inside Account Manager

Are you a high energy, motivated individual with a passion for industrial sales? Does developing relationships with customers excite you? Do you enjoy the thrill of a sale? If so, we are interested in speaking with you about a position based in Arlington Heights, IL.

Company Overview:

The Kolbi Pipe Marker Company, located in Arlington Heights, is a dynamic manufacturer of niche-market products used in the construction industry. We have been in business for 50 years and are a leader in our industry. We take great pride in offering exceptional service and exceeding the expectations of our customers. Our products are required for use in non-residential new construction projects and are used primarily by building contractors.

Position Overview:

The Inside Account Manager will be responsible for selling into an existing customer base in a multi-state territory, with a strong emphasis on customer growth and developing leads into new business. Additional duties include:

Meeting territory sales and growth expectations
Developing a solid and trusting relationship between customers and company
Developing a complete understanding of account needs
Providing creative solutions to customer needs
Using our CRM system to effectively manage day-to-day activities
Follow up on leads and ultimately convert into buying customers
Expanding relationships and bringing in new customers
High volume of daily customer contacts
Traveling to trade-shows and into assigned territory during the year

Requirements:

REQUIREMENT - Previous experience in the electrical industry (contractor, distribution
ancillary products) Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience
2-5 years of proven work experience as an Outbound Inside Sales Representative
Strong phone presence and experience with proactive outbound calling
History of successfully achieving and/or exceeding sales quota
A closer with the ability to manage multiple customers concurrently at various stages of the sales process
Ability to overcome customer objections to close sales
Computer skills, especially knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
High professional standards regarding customer service, integrity, and confidentiality
Previous experience using a CRM and previous industrial sales experience a plus

This position will be based in our Arlington Heights facility and is a day shift, Monday – Friday. We maintain a business casual environment. We offer a base salary and commission compensation package, as well as competitive benefits, which include vacation, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401K programs.

This is not a Customer Service position and only those with experience in proactive sales should apply.
