Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Territory Manager to lead our sales efforts within designated regions. This role involves managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth through strategic territory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical sales expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a competitive environment.

Duties

Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market share within assigned territory.
Manage existing client relationships through regular communication, product demonstrations, and personalized service.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying leads.
Conduct product demos and technical presentations tailored to customer needs.
Negotiate deals effectively to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Provide ongoing training and leadership to junior team members or new hires.
Prepare comprehensive reports on territory performance for senior management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or medical/scientific equipment technical sales.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets within a competitive landscape.
Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent account management abilities.
Technical sales experience related to pharmaceutical or medical equipment is highly desirable.
Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint), and analysis tools.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Leadership qualities with experience guiding or mentoring team members.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical or medical industry standards is a plus.
Field sales experience with a focus on enterprise selling strategies.
Ability to analyze market data and adapt strategies accordingly.
