Full Job Description

Peri-Operative Registered Nurse

Established plastic surgery practice is seeking to hire a dynamic, highly motivated, experienced RN to serve as a PRN Peri-Operative Team Member.

Position Summary:

The nurse provides one on one patient care in an outpatient surgery center setting.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

· Background & exposure in plastic surgery.

· Character, caring and integrity count

· Flexibility

Responsibilities Include:

· Provide direct patient care of PreOp, OR and PACU patients

· Contributing to patient education and engagement platforms, including but not limited to SnapChat, Instagram, Facebook, RealSelf, and YouTube, and serve as an information resource for patients educating them about the available resources and mediums utilized by Colorado Plastic Surgery Center.

Additional specifics:

· PRN, 1-2 days per week with some weeks having potential for more hours.

· Possibility of part-time hours

· Opportunity for overnight shifts

· Competitive salary

Position Requirements:

· 3 years PeriOperative RN experience

· Current CO state license required

· Experience using an EMR, as well as computer skills

· Proven ability to function at highest level within scope of practice following protocol and specific care delivery expectations

· Excellent assessment and care coordination skills

· Surgery center credentialing eligibility

Preferred:

· Outpatient care experience, Post Operative experience or women’s health experience is favorable

· BLS and ACLS certification
