Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an organized, hands-on Office & Operations Manager to oversee daily administrative and operational activities within our growing small business. This role is responsible for coordinating office operations, inventory management, shipping and fulfillment processes, and e-commerce support while supervising the Shipping & Receiving function.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a small business environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and can balance administrative responsibilities with operational leadership.

Responsibilities

Operations Leadership & Team Management

Supervise and support the Shipping & Receiving team member to ensure efficient daily operations
Coordinate workload priorities, scheduling, and task assignments
Develop and maintain operational procedures and workflows
Monitor productivity, accuracy, and process efficiency
Assist with employee onboarding and training related to operational processes
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies

Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Oversight

Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Verify order accuracy and maintain quality control standards
Support shipping and receiving activities during high-volume periods as needed
Maintain inventory accuracy using inventory management systems
Conduct inventory audits and reconciliation activities
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment needs

E-Commerce & Order Fulfillment Operations

Oversee e-commerce order fulfillment activities
Ensure timely processing and shipment of customer orders
Coordinate order tracking, customer communication, and fulfillment workflows
Assist with inventory updates and operational support for online sales channels

Office Administration & Business Support

Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative activities
Maintain records, operational documents, and internal procedures
Coordinate vendors, office supplies, and purchasing activities
Support scheduling, internal communication, and general office organization
Assist leadership with special projects and operational initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience in operations, office management, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or related roles
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
Experience with inventory management systems and order fulfillment processes
Familiarity with e-commerce operations preferred
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced small business environment
