We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Financial & Insurance Coordinator to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Financial & Insurance Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting both patients and the practice by managing insurance benefits, financial arrangements, and account follow-up. This position serves as a bridge between patients, insurance companies, and our clinical team to ensure a smooth and transparent financial experience from consultation through treatment completion.

ResponsibilitiesInsurance Coordination

Verify orthodontic insurance benefits and eligibility.
Submit and track insurance claims and pre-authorizations.
Follow up on outstanding claims and insurance payments.
Resolve claim denials, discrepancies, and billing issues.
Maintain accurate insurance records and documentation.
Communicate insurance benefits and coverage details to patients and families.

Financial Coordination

Assist with presenting treatment fees, payment options, and financing plans.
Process payments and maintain accurate account records.
Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections when necessary.
Generate financial reports and support practice financial goals.

Patient Experience

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families.
Answer questions regarding insurance, billing, and financial policies.
Build trust and confidence through clear communication and professionalism.
Collaborate closely with the front desk, treatment coordinator, and clinical team.

Qualifications

Previous dental, orthodontic, medical, or healthcare insurance experience preferred.
Experience with insurance verification, claims processing, and collections.
Strong understanding of patient financing and payment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with dental practice management software is a plus.
Positive attitude, professionalism, and commitment to outstanding patient care.
