Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and assemble meal trays according to diet orders and daily work assignments

Wash, clean, and prepare vegetables and other food items for meal service

Deliver and retrieve food carts to and from patient care areas

Operate dishwashing equipment and perform cleaning of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and work areas

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas in compliance with safety standards

Assist with food service for special events and perform other related duties as assigned

Offers of employment will be contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment examination, which includes a drug screen and other regulatory medical requirements such as, but not limited to, a tuberculosis (TB) screen. The cost for drug screening and blood draw for QuantiFERON and Titers, shall be borne by the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation.
