Scutari Restaurant -

Exciting times are ahead as we head into our second year in our new restaurant Scutari Italian Kitchen. We are thrilled to bring the flavors of Italy to our community. We are seeking talented, experienced, and enthusiastic cooks to build out our back of house staff: Sauté cooks, grill cooks, and lead line cooks.

Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

Execute precise and consistent food preparation according to recipes and specifications.
Contribute to the creation of a diverse menu that showcases the richness of Italian cuisine.

Cooking Expertise:

Demonstrate proficiency in various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and baking.
Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet our high standards.

Team Collaboration:

Work seamlessly with kitchen team members to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
Communicate effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Food Safety:

Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas.

Menu Familiarity:

Become familiar with our menu, including ingredients and cooking methods.
Contribute ideas for menu enhancements and improvements.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred.
Passion for Italian cuisine and a desire to create authentic dishes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
