Are you a finance leader who thrives in building something from the ground up? Step into a high-visibility Finance Controller role where you will establish and lead the U.S. finance function for a global automotive manufacturing company scaling rapidly in North America.

This is more than a traditional controller role—you will operate with a CFO-level mindset, partnering directly with global leadership while driving financial strategy, compliance, and operational excellence across a growing U.S. business.

Own the full U.S. finance function for a business projected to grow 66% in the next few years
Lead a critical SAP implementation and financial transformation initiative
Partner cross-functionally across sales, supply chain, and operations to drive performance
Gain exposure to IPO preparation and global leadership visibility
Work on-site in Chicago, IL as part of a growing U.S. leadership team

Positioned for significant expansion, this role offers the opportunity to shape the financial foundation of a business scaling rapidly in North America.

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000.
If this opportunity excites you and you bring the following experience, we’d love to connect:

6–10+ years of finance/accounting experience in manufacturing or automotive environments
Strong expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, tax, and transfer pricing
Experience operating in a standalone or subsidiary finance leadership role
Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)
Demonstrated ability to build processes and operate in a lean, high-growth environment
CPA, CA, or MBA (Finance) preferred

Drive Financial Strategy and Build Scalable Infrastructure in a High-Growth Environment

As Finance Controller, you will lead all aspects of the U.S. finance function, acting as the key link between the U.S. entity and global headquarters while enabling growth, compliance, and operational insight.

You will:

Lead end-to-end accounting, reporting, and monthly close in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
Oversee tax compliance, transfer pricing, and regulatory requirements across federal and state levels
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial planning activities to support scaling operations
Serve as a strategic business partner to sales, supply chain, and operations, providing insight into pricing, margins, and profitability
Lead SAP implementation and data migration, ensuring accuracy, controls, and scalability (intake notes)
Establish processes, controls, and SOPs to support a growing U.S. subsidiary
Support audits, consolidation, and global reporting requirements

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and operational execution in a fast-evolving environment.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
