Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and support tailored to their unique needs. This position requires a commitment to patient well-being and a passion for helping others.

Duties

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Provide patient care by monitoring vital signs and observing changes in health status.
Support clients with meal preparation, cooking, and dietary needs while ensuring proper nutrition.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans developed by healthcare professionals.
Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
Document patient observations accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or assisted living environments is preferred.
Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and basic nursing skills is highly beneficial.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer’s disease, or dementia is an asset.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs.
Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and vital sign assessment is desirable.
