Full Job Description

JOB TITLE: Northeast Territory Sales Manager - Neurosurgery Components
INDUSTRY: Plastic medical device manufacturing - Parenchymal and Ventricular catheters
LOCATION: Largest customer base is in or near NYC, Philadelphia, and New Jersey
TRAVEL: Must be willing to travel throughout the region listed above up to 75% of the time
JOB TYPE: Full-time, direct hire with full benefits
COMP STRUCTURE: Base salary plus capital commissions plus disposable commissions

Main Tasks

· Realization of the local territory Clinic US business plan including specific revenue and market share targets.

· Training and resource management support for distributors in their respective sales territories.

· Plan, conduct and monitor product demos including the progression and duplication of existing product training and clinical education programs with clinical personnel including physicians, nurses, technicians and administration.

· Attend company supported US congresses and international workshops

· Collect and validate market-side feedback for continuous improvement of existing and development of new competitive product programs and systems for the US.

· Support forecasting efforts and monitoring of product stock levels as requested.

· Support US based customer service and logistics with product training as needed

Minimum Qualifications

· Under-graduate in science, business or any relevant engineering specialty.

· 3+ years of experience in a similar position or 5+ years as an ICU nurse or technician.

· Relevant clinical experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year- for-year basis.

· A formal medical education is a strong plus

· Successful candidates must be willing to travel intensively throughout the territory and the entire US over 75% of the time

Tasks in the Environment and Safety Division

· During daily work, please ensure an economic consumption of energy and economical use of resources.

· Obligation to assist the responsible persons with the responsibilities of occupational safety and environmental protection.

· Compliance with the security regulations, use and upkeep of safety-relevant equipment.

· Hazardous conditions must be communicated to the person responsible immediately.

· Devices, machines and plants may be operated in operationally safe conditions only.

· Personal protective equipment must be worn when handling objects located in the plant (devices, materials) in keeping with the operating instructions and safety data sheets.

· Compliance and observation of order and cleanliness in the entire working area.

· Proper storage and handling of hazardous substances.

· The operating instructions for hazardous substances and activities must be observed.

· Before using new substances, the safety data sheet must be obtained before purchase.

· When transporting substances (such as raw material samples) the corresponding safety data sheet must be observed. If necessary, involve the commissioner in dangerous goods.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
