Full Job Description

LPN/RN – Part-Time

Rockingham Jail | Rockingham, NC

We partner with county and municipal correctional facilities across North Carolina to provide compassionate, patient-centered healthcare to one of the state's most underserved populations. Through transparency, collaboration, and clinical excellence, we're committed to delivering care that goes beyond the minimum standard.

We're currently seeking a part-time LPN/RN to join our team at the Rockingham Jail in Rockingham, NC.

What You'll Do

As an LPN/RN, you'll work alongside licensed healthcare providers and correctional staff to help deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include:

Assisting with preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations
Supporting chronic care management, sick call, and urgent care services
Obtaining and documenting vital signs, patient histories, and clinical observations
Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
Assisting providers with examinations and treatments
Supporting medication administration and clinical procedures as permitted by state regulations
Communicating effectively with healthcare providers and correctional staff
Helping maintain a safe, organized, and professional clinical environment

As IMS continues to grow, there may also be opportunities to mentor and support new clinical team members.

Who You Are

You're a compassionate, dependable LPN/RN who thrives in a team environment and communicates with professionalism and respect. You're adaptable, organized, and committed to providing quality care to every patient.

Requirements:

Active North Carolina LPN or RN license
Current CPR certification
Previous correctional healthcare experience preferred, but not required
Ability to commute to Rockingham, NC

What IMS Offers

Pay: $33.00–$35.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, rotating weekends
