How you'll make an impact in this role:
- Conduct patient exams using ultrasound waves, identifying and interpreting anatomical structures, pathology, and artifacts while ensuring high-quality image capture.

Set up and adjust equipment, ensure proper functionality, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform necessary safety/tag-out procedures.

Implement safety protocols, maintain regulatory compliance, and uphold departmental cleanliness in procedure rooms and storage areas.

Perform routine and complex imaging studies, manage PACS submissions, and ensure all patient data and lead markers are accurate and complete.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

One or more of the following required:
-
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:

High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.
