Full Job Description

The Food Service Director will provide all food service functions to ensure patients’ dietary needs are met in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Just as importantly, the Food Service Director will help ensure a positive and pleasant dining experience for the members of our care community. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:

High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred
Prior health-care experience preferred
1 year prior food services experience preferred.

Specific Job Requirements:

Planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Dietary Service Department in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, established facility policies and procedures. And as may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure that quality food service and nutritional care is provided at all times.
Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
Dependable transportation necessary
Excited about serving our residents and making a difference.
