Tech Advisors is a managed service provider (MSP) focused on delivering IT support, cybersecurity, and technology strategy to CPA and accounting firm clients. We're growing our client success team and looking for a relationship-driven professional who can own a book of business, deepen client trust, and turn strong service delivery into measurable account growth.

Position Summary

The Senior Client Relationship Manager (SCRM) owns the health, growth, and retention of an assigned portfolio of MSP clients. This role blends account management, light business development, and client advocacy — running regular business reviews, spotting expansion opportunities, and making sure every client feels like Tech Advisors' top priority. You'll work closely with the technical delivery and sales teams to keep client relationships strong and recurring revenue growing.

This is a hybrid role: clients within your local market are visited in person on a regular cadence, while clients elsewhere in the region are managed remotely. A quiet, distraction-free home office setup is required to support remote client meetings and calls.

Key Responsibilities

Client Growth & Referrals

Generate new client referrals through a structured, relationship-based process run out of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Build and maintain a network of client contacts to support warm introductions and referral requests.
Participate in periodic canvasing/outreach initiatives alongside the Sales team.
Visit assigned clients in person on a regular cadence to reinforce the relationship.

Client Relationship Management

Lead Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs) with assigned accounts each quarter, translating technical delivery into business value.
Run regular client check-ins to monitor satisfaction, surface issues early, and identify growth opportunities.
Coordinate new client onboarding and kickoff training alongside the Project Management team.
Proactively monitor client health and service usage to flag and address risks before they escalate.
Conduct exit interviews with departing clients and feed findings back into retention strategy.

Revenue & Account Growth

Drive year-over-year sales growth within your existing client base.
Identify and close net-new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) opportunities across your portfolio.
Support the migration of legacy clients onto Tech Advisors' current Master Service Agreement (MSA).
Proactively manage renewals and upgrades of client services and subscriptions as their needs evolve.
Secure client reviews, testimonials, and case study material to support referrals and sales enablement.

Operational Excellence

Attend and actively contribute to the weekly Sales Huddle.
Respond to all client communications within 24 hours.
Keep client records, notes, and opportunities current in ConnectWise.

What Success Looks Like

Performance in this role is measured against a clear set of monthly and quarterly KPIs, including:

2 new client referrals per month (6/quarter)
10% growth in sales from existing clients per quarter
10 Strategic Business Reviews per month (30/quarter)
5 client check-ins per week, including SBRs
$5,000 in net-new MRR per month; $45,000 in net recurring revenue per quarter
100% of assigned clients migrated to the current Tech Advisors MSA

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in account management, client relationship management, or business development at a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
Hands-on, working experience with ConnectWise (PSA/Manage).
Hands-on, working experience with ConnectWise Automate (RMM).
Hands-on, working experience with ScalePad (lifecycle/warranty and asset management).
Demonstrated track record of hitting revenue, retention, or referral-based targets.
Experience building long-term, trust-based relationships with client executives and other decision-makers.
Strong presentation and executive-level communication skills — comfortable running QBRs/SBRs with client leadership.
Ability to independently manage and prioritize a portfolio of client accounts.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally for in-person client visits.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience serving CPA, accounting, or professional services clients.
Familiarity with structured QBR/SBR programs and referral-generation processes.
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Working knowledge of core IT/security products (e.g., firewalls, VPNs) sufficient to speak credibly to client needs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook/scheduling tools).
Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+) or general IT fluency.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role occasionally requires lifting or moving items up to 10 lbs and maintaining a valid driver's license with reliable transportation for client visits. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.
