About Studio Ready

Studio Ready is a Miami-based fragrance and personal care company. Every product is labeled, prepared and shipped from our studio by a small, hands-on team. We value care, consistency and attention to detail throughout the process.

About the Position

We are hiring an experienced Shipping & Fulfillment Team Leader to oversee the daily workflow of our labeling and fulfillment operation.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You will work alongside the team while managing the complete process from product labeling and shelf replenishment through picking, packing and shipping customer orders. The majority of the day will be spent working with and directing the team on the floor.

A central responsibility of this role is building and implementing standard operating procedures. We are specifically looking for someone who has personally created SOPs for a shipping or fulfillment operation, not only worked within existing procedures.

The Team Leader will document how each part of the operation should be performed, train the team on those standards and continue improving them as the company grows. This includes procedures for labeling, quality checks, shelf replenishment, picking, packing, carrier cutoffs, inventory counts, incoming deliveries and returns.

Every member of our team is cross-trained. The Team Leader must be willing to learn and perform every task, including applying product labels by hand, stocking fulfillment shelves, packing orders and preparing shipments.

This position reports directly to the founder.

Responsibilities

Build, document and implement SOPs for the complete labeling and fulfillment workflow
Establish clear standards for accuracy, quality, organization and completion times
Train team members on each procedure and ensure procedures are followed consistently
Review and update SOPs as order volume, products and operational needs change
Lead the daily workflow of the Product Labeling & Fulfillment Associate and Shipping & Fulfillment Associate
Work alongside the team applying product labels, stocking shelves, picking orders, packing and shipping
Set daily priorities and assign work based on order volume and product needs
Manage team schedules and maintain appropriate coverage
Cross-train team members across labeling and shipping functions
Ensure fulfillment shelves remain organized and fully stocked
Review completed work for labeling accuracy, order accuracy and presentation
Ensure customer orders are completed before scheduled carrier pickups
Track shipping supplies and coordinate replenishment before materials run low
Oversee the receipt, organization and putaway of incoming products and materials
Establish and manage regular inventory and cycle-count procedures
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Oversee returns and returned-product processing
Identify workflow problems and implement practical improvements
Maintain a clean, organized and efficient workspace
Communicate priorities, expectations and constructive feedback clearly to the team

Operational Context

Order volume is steady on most business days, with higher volume on Mondays, after holidays and during peak periods.

Much of the work is performed by hand, including product labeling, shelf replenishment, quality checks and packing. An early priority for the Team Leader will be evaluating the current workflow and creating clear, practical SOPs that the team can follow every day.

What We’re Looking For

At least five years of experience in shipping, fulfillment, warehouse operations or a similar environment
At least two years of experience leading or supervising a hands-on team
Demonstrated experience personally writing and implementing SOPs for a shipping or fulfillment operation
Experience turning informal workflows into clear, repeatable procedures
Experience training a team on new procedures and monitoring consistent execution
Strong working knowledge of picking, packing, shipping, inventory control and carrier pickups
Experience using shipping software, order-management systems and label printers
Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through
Ability to plan daily work and adjust priorities as order volume changes
Confidence providing clear direction and constructive feedback
Willingness to perform every labeling and fulfillment task alongside the team
Ability to identify operational problems and implement practical solutions
Experience managing inventory, shipping supplies and incoming deliveries
Experience building processes within a small, growing operation is strongly preferred

Schedule

Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts
Daytime schedule
On-site at our Wynwood studio

Reliable attendance and the ability to arrive on time for each scheduled shift are required.
