We are currently searching for a dynamic Vendor Management Specialist/Administrator to join our Credit Union family. This position will be based at our Sheridan location (Pembroke Pines- I-75 & Sheridan). This role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Vendor Management Program, as well as being responsible for collecting required documentation for vendor management review.

In this position you will:

Serve as Vendor Management Administrator for PFCU by the conducting the following: 1) responsible for maintaining the Vendor Management Program that ensures full compliance with applicable rules, policies, regulations and guidelines; 2) assist in creating vendor due diligence reviews for new and existing relationships and ensures the relationship owner(s) and manager(s) provide input into the vendor’s level of risk as well as the satisfaction with maintaining vendor relationship; 3) assess the necessary timeline for document collection; 4) update new vendors and assists relationship manager(s) as new vendors are sought, to maintain the most updated information: 5) work with relationship owner(s) and manager(s) as well as Information Security for input into the vendors due diligence; 6) provide the necessary training to relationship manager(s) to ensure the vendor management program is maintained; 7) prepare yearly due diligence reports for steering committee meetings; 8) assist with reports during compliance audits as it relates to vendor management and 9) coordinate with Information Security and Relationship managers for review of vendor security reports such as SSAE16/SOC reports, CUEC’s, writing up findings and reporting to management.
Maintain the following for PFCU 1) maintain credit union contracts within the vendor management system; 2) maintain centralized electronic file and tracking system of all vendor contracts and documentation relating to the vendors; 3) ensure the management system is updated as necessary with old and new contracts and agreements; 4) assist in the notification process of any new documents that are about to expire or up for renewal; 5) act as a liaison with vendor representatives for collection of required documentation and possible contracts; 6) work with credit union management to obtain and maintain a list of all vendors used in all departments and 7) maintain the necessary documentation for vendor through engagement with third party managed services and vendors directly.
Serve as backup helpdesk functions.
Other duties as assigned.

To be considered you will need:

High School graduate or GED equivalency required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
A minimum of 3 years financial service experience in a technology setting required with 2 years or more Vendor Management experience required.
MS Office applications: Word and Excel, Basic Word, Intermediate Excel for reporting purposes.
Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Must have excellent communications skills
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent organization, planning, and follow up skills
Able to handle multiple tasks, responsibilities, and projects
Must possess the ability to remain calm, patient, objective, and professional when presented with difficult situations.
Must be able to work in a time sensitive environment, making sound decisions and communicating these decisions to stakeholders.
Must have strong collaboration skills and have high level of proactivity and initiative.
Should have knowledge and/or ability to understand contracts.
Must be adaptable, flexible and resourceful in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with strong multi-tasking ability.

Note: Some Hybrid work (1 day per week may be available after 4 month onsite.
