Full Job Description

Imagine Occasions is looking for talented, energetic, and highly dependable female performers to portray princesses and lead children's entertainment experiences throughout South Florida.

This is not simply a costume character position. We are looking for confident entertainers who can command a room, engage children, lead activities, manage music, and create unforgettable experiences with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate is someone who can walk into a party and confidently take charge of the entertainment from start to finish.

Requirements:

Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties.
Must be available on weekends.
Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
Must be comfortable speaking on a microphone and engaging large groups.
Must have strong public speaking and crowd management skills.
Must be able to sing, dance, lead games, and keep children engaged.
Must be able to multitask while managing music, activities, and audience participation.
Must be comfortable performing independently without direct supervision.
Must be able to learn scripts, character personalities, and event procedures.
Must maintain a polished appearance and positive attitude.

Preferred Experience:

Children's entertainment
Theater, acting, dance, cheerleading, or performance arts
Teaching, childcare, camp counseling, or youth programs
Event hosting or MC experience

Responsibilities:

Arrive at events no less than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
Remain fully in character throughout the appearance.
Lead games, dancing, sing-alongs, and interactive activities.
Operate music and speakers while simultaneously engaging guests.
Use a microphone confidently and effectively.
Manage the flow of the entertainment experience.
Create magical and memorable interactions for children and families.
Properly care for costumes, wigs, props, and company equipment.
Represent Imagine Occasions with professionalism at all times.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for performers who can wear multiple hats and think on their feet. Someone who is organized, self-managed, confident, and capable of handling an event without constant direction.

The ideal performer is not waiting to be told what to do—they anticipate needs, solve problems, engage the audience, and take ownership of the experience.

We can teach our characters, stories, and party structure.

What we need are dependable entertainers with strong personalities, leadership skills, and the confidence to keep a room full of children excited, engaged, and having fun.
