Overview
We are seeking a commission only dynamic and technically skilled Generator Sales Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will drive the growth of our generator solutions by combining technical expertise with proactive sales strategies. Your energetic approach will help clients understand the value of our products and tailor solutions that meet their unique needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, sales, and customer service, empowering you to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment. In home sales experience required.

Duties

Engage with prospective clients to understand their power generation requirements and present tailored generator solutions through compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategic plans that expand market reach and increase sales opportunities for generator systems.
Conduct detailed analysis of customer needs, leveraging technical knowledge of residential electrical loads and generator sizing.
Lead pre-sales activities by providing expert guidance on product features, benefits, and integration capabilities, ensuring customer confidence in our offerings.
Develop and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and product presentations that clearly communicate value propositions aligned with customer goals.
Stay current on product offerings and electrical codes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in in-home technical sales or pre-sales roles within the power generation or related technology sectors.
Strong understanding of electrical construction techniques and installation practices.
Demonstrated ability to conduct effective product knowledge and technical presentations to mostly residential audiences.
Exceptional analysis skills for assessing customer requirements and designing tailored solutions that incorporate automatic standby generator systems.
Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical information clearly and persuasively during sales engagements.
A proactive attitude with a passion for driving sales growth through technical expertise and customer-focused service.
