Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Business Analyst Training & Internship, where you will immerse yourself in the world of data-driven decision-making and business intelligence. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to develop core analytical skills, gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools, and contribute to impactful projects. You will work closely with experienced professionals to understand the full software development lifecycle, enhance your technical proficiency, and support the creation of insightful dashboards and reports that drive strategic business initiatives. Responsibilities

Assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements to develop effective data solutions
Support the design and development of dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms
Contribute to data model design, database schema development, and query management within SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
Collaborate on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Talend or similar tools to ensure accurate data integration
Participate in software development lifecycle analysis (SDLC) to understand project phases from planning through deployment
Help maintain and enhance data visualization projects by creating interactive dashboards that communicate key insights clearly
Engage in Agile project management practices, supporting sprint planning and iterative development cycles
Develop technical proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and SQL for data analysis and automation tasks
Assist in conducting analysis using Excel data analysis techniques and data analytics tools to support business decision-making
Support requirements analysis activities by translating business needs into technical specifications for reporting solutions

Experience

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field with a strong interest in analytics and business intelligence
Demonstrated familiarity with SQL databases and query management practices
Basic understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred
Knowledge of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies is advantageous
Experience with data analytics tools like R or Python is a plus
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting technical requirements
Eagerness to learn new technologies such as Looker, VBA, Bash scripting, Talend, Oracle databases, Visio for process modeling, and other related tools
