New Jersey’s academic health center, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) takes an integrated approach to educating students, providing clinical care, and conducting research, all with the goal of improving human health. Posting Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Grants Coordinator for the department of Pediatrics at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

The primary purpose of the Grants Coordinator position is to support the research mission in the Department of Pediatrics and coordinate grant and funding initiatives for the department/program/project(s).

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

Serves as principal department liaison between research support team and Pediatric Principal Investigators to coordinate budgeting and federal and state grant application processes.
Provides program management support for Principal Investigators including but not limited to supporting faculty with preparation of grant applications and recruitment of budgeted staff on awarded grants.
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all grant related materials and applications.
Serves as a resource for developing grant applications including preparation of grant proposals, proofreading and editing documents and proposal processing.
Assists with the compilation, tracking and filing of budgets, agreements, contracts, sub-contracts etc. and coordinates with faculty and staff project members in an efficient and timely manner.
Maintains integrity and quality control of databases, websites and grant materials.
