Full Job Description

We are seeking a Mobile Hearing Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for performing audio test.

Responsibilities:

Performs hearing screenings and basic hearing tests under the supervision of an audiologist.
Maintains and calibrates hearing test equipment.
Prepares patients for testing and documents results.
Cannot diagnose hearing disorders or independently interpret diagnostic hearing tests.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
Work independently with minimal supervision while managing time and priorities effectively.
Travel to and from customer locations and job sites as required.
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and testing equipment in good working condition.
Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and staff.
Follow all company safety procedures and applicable industry standards during travel and while performing job duties.
Maintain confidentiality and security of protected health information (PHI).

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Understanding of HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
Proficiency in basic computer skills and applications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Good/Excellent driving record
Able to work varying hours
Able to stay overnight in hotels when necessary; possible 2-4nights a week
Have a Class B CDL
Out of town travel can be up to 100% of your work schedule, weekly
Weekends are sometimes required. Weekends are paid at time and a half rate

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong data entry and document management skills.
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

TRAVEL

Bio-Care is a mobile medical company and travels to clients on a daily basis. Travel is a daily part of this position. Bio-Care pays for all travel costs including hotels when overnights are required. Our office is located in Holt, MI and you would travel to our office and gather testing supplies and company vehicle. Then travel out from Holt, MI to our clients, either on a daily or weekly basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 45.0 per week
