Full Job Description

Ment Law Group, PC is a growing Connecticut law firm with a focus on travel law, seeking an experienced corporate, business, and transactional attorney to join our team. This is a strong opportunity for an attorney who wants to build client relationships and manage sophisticated business matters as part of a growing practice. The firm has expanded steadily since 2018 and continues to grow into new practice areas, and attorneys have the flexibility to work remotely. The firm maintains offices in Hartford and Westport, Connecticut.

What You'll Do

Handle a range of corporate and transactional matters including:

● Entity formation and structuring

● Contract drafting, review, and negotiation

● Vendor and supplier agreements

● Terms and conditions and licensing agreements

● Mergers, acquisitions, and business sales, including a significant role in M&A transactions

● Employment and independent contractor agreements

● General outside counsel and business advisory services for firm clients

What We're Looking For

● Active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction

● Several years of experience in corporate, business, or transactional law

● Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills

● Experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a plus, though not required

● A self-starter who can manage client relationships independently

● Comfortable managing the full lifecycle of a matter independently

● Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

● Willingness to travel as needed

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
