Qualifications & Experience:

Licensed Physical Therapist with active credential in the state
Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
Knowledge of pediatric therapy approaches and best practices
Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students’ physical development and functional abilities in collaboration with educational staff
Design and provide targeted therapeutic interventions for students in need of physical support
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student goals and accommodations
Educate and train staff and families on strategies and equipment to support student participation
Maintain accurate records of progress, interventions, and services provided
Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other support professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student success

This position allows you to focus on delivering individualized care while working as part of a multidisciplinary team, all within the unique environment of a school system. Your skills will directly support students’ independence, confidence, and ability to participate fully in their educational experience.
