Full Job Description

Gables CPA firm seeks a Tax Supervisor/Senior. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of Federal and Multistate Income Taxation to service our domestic and foreign tax clients. The Tax Senior will be responsible for tax compliance, accounting, research and planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare federal corporate, partnership, multistate and international tax compliance
Prepare individual income tax returns for domestic and foreign clients
Prepare income tax workpapers, and quarterly and year-end tax calculations
Calculate and file quarterly estimated income tax payments and extensions
Prepare and file annual foreign tax reporting forms
Respond to various government tax agency notices and requests

QUALIFICATIONS

Three to five years corporate and individual income tax experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Tax. CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Must be able to work independently and lead staff in an organized manner
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with management
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
