Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Lead Server/Assistant Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team. This dynamic role combines exceptional guest service with leadership responsibilities, ensuring smooth restaurant operations while delivering memorable dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and beverage, a knack for sales, and the ability to inspire and manage a team in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest service, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to with professionalism and enthusiasm
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including table management, reservations via OpenTable, and coordinating service flow using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
Assist in training and mentoring team members on food handling, beverage service, upselling techniques, and food safety standards
Manage cash handling, sales transactions processing, and POS system operations accurately and efficiently
Support the team in serving food and beverages, including cocktail mixing, wine pouring, spirits knowledge, and drink presentation to enhance guest satisfaction
Ensure sanitation standards are maintained through proper food preparation, cleaning procedures, and adherence to health regulations
Handle guest relations proactively by resolving concerns swiftly and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons

Experience

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or upscale hospitality settings
Strong background in serving, bartending (including cocktail experience), and beverage service with knowledge of spirits and wine pairings
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and sales processing
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience as a Lead Server or Assistant Manager role within the food industry
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy shifts
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, upselling techniques, and creating memorable experiences
