Full Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused, and highly organized Sales Support & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role combines inside sales, customer service, sales administration, and marketing support responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with our sales team, customers, and operations staff to drive sales growth, provide exceptional customer service, support marketing initiatives, and ensure the efficient processing of customer orders.

The ideal candidate is a proactive multitasker with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for building customer relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inside Sales & Customer Service

Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email.
Respond to sales inquiries, quote requests, and order submissions.
Generate and follow up on sales leads and prospect opportunities.
Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to develop business and increase sales.
Advise customers on product selection, quantities, applications, and installation options.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships through exceptional service.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Marketing Support

Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and customer outreach efforts.
Manage and update customer contact databases.
Support social media, email marketing, and promotional activities.
Assist in creating marketing materials, flyers, and customer communications.
Help identify opportunities to increase customer engagement and brand awareness.

Office & Operational Support

Assist various departments with cost tracking, expense reconciliation, and spend analysis to ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, and financial accountability.
Prepare and maintain costing spreadsheets, verify vendor invoices, reconcile departmental expenditures, and support management with expense reporting and cost-control initiatives.
Coordinate business travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotel accommodations, rental cars, and related travel logistics for management and staff.
Prepare travel itineraries and ensure all travel reservations and confirmations are properly communicated.
Schedule appointments, meetings, and sales activities.
Maintain organized records and filing systems.
Assist with inventory monitoring and ordering of office and operational supplies.
Support office management activities to maintain an efficient work environment.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and workflow efficiency.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of customer service, inside sales, sales support, or administrative experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other business software applications.
Accurate data entry and recordkeeping skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Sales experience is preferred but not required.

Commercial foodservice industry experience preferred.
Positive attitude with a strong customer-first mindset.
Friendly, professional, and engaging personality.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to learn product knowledge and applications quickly.
Ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to lift and move product boxes and materials as needed.
Ability to work in a busy office and showroom environment with frequent customer interaction.
Ability to communicate clearly in person and by telephone.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
