Full Job Description

Job Overview

Provide on-site, part-time office administration in beautiful downtown Hood River, Oregon. Support a small team of consultants with day-to-day office administrative and accounting tasks. Approximately 15 hours per week on consistent days, with flexible days and hours, Monday through Friday.

DS Consulting is a full-service, woman-owned conflict management and consensus building firm focusing on the issues and needs of public agencies and non-profit organizations. Our expertise is in mediation, facilitation, systems design and consensus building, and in group development, training, and coaching. Our clients primarily include local, state, federal, and Tribal governments.

This position offers a variety of office administrative support tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll processing and assorted general office duties, such as sorting mail, filing, ordering supplies, responding to client inquiries, and maintaining office cleanliness and equipment. Additional duties include basic bookkeeping, website maintenance, scheduling, and participation in internal team meetings. If you have good communication, organizational and computer skills, like variety, want a flexible schedule and enjoy working with a friendly, collaborative team, please send a résumé and cover letter..

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience with AP/AR, payroll, or bookkeeping.

Experience working with cloud-based content management and file-sharing software, such as Box or similar platforms, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Dropbox preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft 365/Office Products.

Prior experience working with Adobe Pro, QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, TimeLedger, Squarespace Website Builder or the ability to learn quickly.

Prior experience with meeting tools software: Zoom, Teams, WebEx or similar meeting software.

Proven ability to use good judgment with time sensitive and confidential information.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy and excellent organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with friendly, helpful customer service skills.

Ability to proactively scan the office environment for areas that need attention.

Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Ability to pass a background check.
