Sterilization Technician — Career-Track Opportunity

Gorge Dental | 32–40 Hours/Week|18-21 Hourly

About the Role

Gorge Dental is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Sterilization Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone interested in building a long-term career in dentistry who may eventually want to grow into a Dental Assistant role.

You do not need previous dental experience. We are willing to train the right person—we’re looking for someone eager to learn, who takes pride in doing things correctly, and brings a positive, team-oriented attitude to their work.

What You’ll Do

Follow our sterilization systems, protocols, and safety procedures consistently and carefully
Clean, disinfect, package, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment
Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared clinical environment
Support the dental team with daily room and operatory needs
Learn and follow Gorge Dental’s systems and workflows
Assist with basic photography and video for patient case documentation and social media content
Take initiative to learn new skills and help wherever needed
Contribute to a positive experience for our patients and a supportive environment for our team

No photography, video, or social media experience is required. We will teach you what you need to know. We’re primarily looking for someone who is comfortable learning, willing to try new things, and able to take initiative.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

Bilingual in English and Spanish
Dependable and punctual
Organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable following established systems and protocols
Eager to learn and develop new skills
Able to take direction while also recognizing when to step in and help
A team player who supports both patients and coworkers
Comfortable learning basic photography, video, and digital documentation
Interested in growing within dentistry rather than simply looking for a short-term job

A Career Path in Dentistry

This position is designed to be more than a sterilization job. We’d love to find someone who sees it as an entry point into a career in dentistry.

As you become comfortable with our systems and responsibilities, there may be opportunities to learn additional skills and develop toward a future Dental Assistant role.

You don’t have to know everything when you start. What matters most is that you’re dependable, teachable, curious, and willing to grow.
