Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operations at our vibrant property located in Birmingham Liberty Park. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities. Your leadership will ensure that the highest standards of hygiene and hospitality are consistently achieved, creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a talented team, implement effective cleaning protocols, and uphold safety regulations across the property.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, ensuring all cleaning tasks meet established quality standards.
Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing work environment.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures aligned with industry best practices and safety regulations.
Oversee custodial operations including industrial cleaning, laundry services, and general maintenance to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens; manage procurement processes to ensure resource availability.
Enforce safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment use, and sanitation practices to protect staff and guests.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and hospitality excellence.

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning management, custodial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills; capable of motivating staff and fostering teamwork.
Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning equipment, and sanitation procedures.
Effective communication skills for managerial interactions with staff, vendors, and guests.
Familiarity with safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards.
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Customer service orientation with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for guests through impeccable cleanliness standards.
