Job Overview

Bookkeeper / Title Clerk

Worktrux, LLC – Birmingham, AL

Join one of the fastest-growing commercial truck dealerships in the Southeast!

Worktrux is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Title Clerk with dealership experience to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys staying organized, and can manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Process vehicle titles and registrations accurately
Handle Alabama title work through ALVIN
Process dealer paperwork and maintain compliance
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
Process sales paperwork using Dealertrack DMS
File Alabama sales tax and other tax obligations through My Alabama Taxes (MAT)
Assist with monthly bookkeeping and reporting
Organize and maintain deal jackets and accounting records
Communicate with banks, customers, tag offices, and vendors as needed
Support the sales and management teams with accounting and administrative tasks

Qualifications

Required:

Previous automotive dealership bookkeeping and/or title clerk experience
Experience using ALVIN
Experience with Dealertrack DMS
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Professional communication and customer service skills

Preferred:

Experience filing through My Alabama Taxes (MAT)
Basic knowledge of QuickBooks
Accounting or bookkeeping background
