Summary of Job Duties:

The Human Resource Administrative Assistant reports to the Human Resource Director and have the following duties:

To assist with publicizing openings, review of applications and maintain records on applicants for all positions in Workday.
To assist with creating job requisitions in Workday.
To assist with background and reference checks.
To assist with coordinating the evaluation of employees.
To assist with reviewing all eligible personnel are granted the appropriate fringe benefits and maintain adequate records for demonstrating it.
To assist with purchase orders, vendor payments.
To work closely with the Vice Chancellors and the Chancellor on decisions regarding persons to be employed as recommended by the committees and division chairs and directors.
To serve on committees as appropriate.
To assist with reports
To help with policies and procedures
To perform other additional duties assigned.

Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field; plus two years of experience in a specialized or a related field applicable to work performed.
