Human Resources
The Human Resource Administrative Assistant reports to the Human Resource Director and have the following duties:
- To assist with publicizing openings, review of applications and maintain records on applicants for all positions in Workday.
- To assist with creating job requisitions in Workday.
- To assist with background and reference checks.
- To assist with coordinating the evaluation of employees.
- To assist with reviewing all eligible personnel are granted the appropriate fringe benefits and maintain adequate records for demonstrating it.
- To assist with purchase orders, vendor payments.
- To work closely with the Vice Chancellors and the Chancellor on decisions regarding persons to be employed as recommended by the committees and division chairs and directors.
- To serve on committees as appropriate.
- To assist with reports
- To help with policies and procedures
- To perform other additional duties assigned.
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field; plus two years of experience in a specialized or a related field applicable to work performed.
