We have immediate openings for a Full-time In-Office Dental Insurance Coordinator in the Fayetteville, NC area.

Job Duties:

Operates multi-line phones for patient assistance with insurance.
Inputs complete breakdown of dental benefits with history obtained from carrier.
Confirms procedures that require prior approval have been approved prior to appointment.
Processes and sends electronic and paper claims and preauthorizations with required documentation.
Assists team members and patients with treatment plans and insurance inquiries.
Locate, interpret, and apply dental explanation of benefits to include denials and adjustments.
Utilizes reports to track and follow up on past due, unsubmitted, unpaid and denied claims.
Researches accounts for insurance overpayments, adjustments, or other insurance needs
Processes insurance payments/checks received in office according to current policies.
Applying and balancing of insurance funds received (If applicable)
Performs cross-trained duties to help in other departments.
Opens/closes/cleans the office as required by office
Multi-tasks all duties above efficiently and in organized manner in fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Skills Needed:

High school Diploma
Previous Dental Insurance Experience STRONGLY PREFERRED
Previous Dental Office experience preferred
Working knowledge of dental terminology and dental software
Strong work ethic, great attitude, and desire to provide the best customer service.
