Travel & Schedule Expectations (Please Read Carefully)
This is a high-travel position (75%+ travel) requiring:
- Frequent overnight stays (often Thursday–Monday assignments)
- Driving 300+ miles regularly, including out-of-state travel
- Weekend work (with scheduled rotation allowing at least one full weekend off every other month)
- Standing and working on your feet for 8+ hours per shift
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy independence, travel, and hands-on technical work in hospital environments.
This role is NOT suited for individuals seeking a standard 9–5 local position. Travel, weekend work, and schedule flexibility are essential for success.

Position Summary
As a Regional Field Specialist, you will travel to hospitals and surgical centers to perform highly detailed cleaning and disinfection services on critical healthcare equipment including:
- Steam sterilizers / autoclaves
- Washer-disinfectors
- Surgical tables
- Stainless steel OR equipment
- Perioperative support equipment
After completing a structured 2–3 month paid training program, you will operate independently within your region, executing scheduled service assignments with professionalism and precision.
What You’ll DoTechnical Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated deep cleaning services following PKT SOPs and manufacturer IFUs
- Light equipment disassembly and reassembly to access and clean critical areas
- Safely handle, transport, and dispose of specialty cleaning chemicals
- Inspect equipment and document service findings with detailed reporting and photos
- Maintain company-issued tools and consumables
Operational Responsibilities
- Review upcoming schedules and prepare materials for assignments
- Communicate professionally with hospital staff before, during, and after service
- Submit accurate and timely service documentation
- Drive company vehicle to service sites (regional travel required)
- Identify potential service opportunities and communicate findings to leadership

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (75%+)
- Strong mechanical aptitude or technical background preferred
(biomedical, electrical, installation, medical device, construction, military technical fields, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and procedural discipline
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced healthcare environments
- Basic computer proficiency (email, documentation software, reporting platforms)
- Professional communication skills
Must meet all hospital credentialing requirements, including required vaccinations. COVID-19 vaccination may be required depending on facility policies.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Stand, bend, stoop, kneel for extended periods
- Perform detailed hand work requiring fine motor skills
- Near visual acuity (corrected), including color differentiation
- Work full shifts (8+ hours) in clinical environments
Work Schedule
- Typical work cycle: Thursday–Monday
- Weekend work required
- Rotational weekend relief (minimum one full weekend off every other month)
- Flexibility required as hospital schedules may change
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience and travel region) + performance bonuses
