Part-Time Wellness & Membership Sales AssociateEvenings & Weekends | beem® Light Sauna – Excelsior, MN

beem® Light Sauna is looking for outgoing, dependable, and sales-driven individuals to join our Excelsior studio as Part-Time Wellness & Membership Sales Associates.

This is a membership sales position within a wellness studio—not a traditional front-desk or receptionist role.

Your primary responsibility will be converting prospective guests into members through studio tours, wellness consultations, lead follow-up, and confident membership recommendations. You will also provide excellent customer service, support daily studio operations, and help maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

We are specifically hiring candidates who can consistently work weekday evenings and weekends.

Schedule Requirements

This position exists primarily to support our evening and weekend business.

Candidates must be available for:

At least two weekday evening shifts
A consistent Saturday or Sunday shift
Occasional studio events, staff meetings, or training sessions

Applicants who are only available during weekday daytime hours will not be considered for our current openings.

How Success Will Be Measured

Performance in this position will be measured through:

Membership and package sales
Lead response and follow-up activity
First-time guest appointments booked
Guest attendance and show rates
First-time guest conversion
Outbound calls, texts, and emails completed
Accurate lead documentation
Contribution to studio revenue goals
Quality of the overall member experience

Approximately 60% of this role is focused on sales, lead follow-up, and guest conversion, while approximately 40% is focused on member service and studio operations.

Primary ResponsibilitiesMembership Sales and Lead Conversion

Respond promptly to new leads and studio inquiries
Contact prospective guests by phone, text, and email
Make outbound sales and customer-care calls during scheduled shifts
Schedule first-time guest appointments and wellness consultations
Greet first-time guests and learn about their health, wellness, and lifestyle goals
Conduct studio tours and explain the guest experience
Educate guests about infrared sauna, red light therapy, chromotherapy, and the benefits of consistent wellness routines
Recommend the membership, package, or service option that best fits each guest
Confidently ask guests to purchase or join following their introductory experience
Follow up with guests who visit but do not initially purchase
Re-engage older leads and previous guests
Promote memberships, packages, upgrades, gift cards, and retail products
Accurately document all lead activity, conversations, and next steps
Work toward individual and studio sales goals
Participate in sales training, coaching, role-playing, and performance reviews

Member Experience

Greet every member and guest warmly
Build genuine relationships with members and learn about their wellness goals
Create a welcoming, upbeat, and engaging studio atmosphere
Answer questions and resolve routine member concerns professionally
Encourage member referrals, reviews, renewals, and consistent studio usage
Conduct customer-care and at-risk member follow-up
Help ensure each guest has an experience that encourages long-term membership and brand loyalty

Studio Operations

Check members and guests in accurately
Prepare sauna suites before appointments
Refresh and sanitize suites between sessions
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and studio
Complete opening, closing, and shift checklists
Process payments, new membership agreements, account changes, and guest registrations
Follow studio procedures for cash handling, delinquent accounts, cancellations, and membership requests
Monitor studio supplies and communicate maintenance or equipment concerns
Follow all beem® Light Sauna operating policies and procedures

Community and Team Involvement

Represent beem® Light Sauna positively in the studio and community
Support studio events, promotions, and community outreach
Help build local awareness of the beem® brand
Contribute ideas for improving sales, promotions, events, and the member experience
Attend required staff meetings and training sessions
Participate in studio social media content when interested and appropriate
Assist with other reasonable projects assigned by the General Manager or owners

Can balance sales, customer service, cleaning, and administrative tasks
Are comfortable using phones, computers, texting platforms, and customer-management systems
Are honest, trustworthy, and able to follow through without repeated reminders

Previous experience in sales, hospitality, fitness, wellness, beauty, retail, or customer service is preferred. We are willing to train the right person who is confident, coachable, dependable, and motivated to sell.

This Position May Not Be the Right Fit If You:

Are primarily looking for a quiet reception or administrative role
Are uncomfortable making outbound calls
Do not enjoy following up with prospective customers
Are hesitant to recommend a purchase or ask someone to join
Prefer not to be measured against sales and activity expectations
Cannot consistently work evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, light cleaning, and the ability to lift and carry routine studio supplies.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
