Executive Sous Chef

Lead. Create. Inspire.

Vault is seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to work alongside our Executive Chef in one of Arkansas' premier independent restaurants.

This is more than a management position—it's an opportunity to help shape the culinary direction of the restaurant while developing the next generation of cooks.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Executive Chef to execute the culinary vision of Vault
Contribute creative ideas, menu development, and seasonal features
Lead daily kitchen operations with professionalism and consistency
Mentor, coach, and develop the culinary team
Ensure quality, consistency, and execution during service
Assist with ordering, inventory, food cost management, and scheduling
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety
Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative kitchen culture

Qualifications

Several years of progressive leadership experience in high-quality restaurants
Strong leadership and communication skills
Passion for creativity while respecting disciplined execution
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
High standards and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and lead during busy services
