Surbo Tubular Services, Inc is a small business located in Houma, LA that has provided machine shop services to the oil & gas industry for 35+ years. We are professional, agile and our goal is to provide a safe and healthy work environment that allows our employees to provide quality service in a timely fashion to best service our customer base.

Surbo Tubular Services, Inc is looking for a CNC and Manual Machinist to join our team. This position will involve working in a fast-paced environment and performing manual tasks that require an attention to detail. The ideal candidate for this job has experience using specialized machinery and equipment, is capable of working autonomously, and has a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This is an entry level role that offers plenty of opportunities for professional growth, so we are interested in finding candidates who are willing to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

Lay out, machine, and inspect precision components using blueprints, templates, gauges, and micrometers.
Set up and operate the machine shop equipment.
Read work orders to determine operations to be performed on parts.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
