Full Job Description

Summary of Position:

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator provides financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Correspondence and phone calls to maintain collection records on delinquent accounts

Provide customer service regarding collections issues, process and review account adjustments, resolve discrepancies and short payments

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining customer accounts

Assist in collecting data to prepare and send out invoices to various customers for several divisions within the company

Monitor, invoice, and reconcile work orders assigned via customer’s web-based software while maintaining job progress

Utilize Excel to analyze and prepare month-end accruals for specific customer accounts

Assist with month-end reconciliations

Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the accounting department

Essential Education and Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience with Microsoft Office applications

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages

Ability to define and meet deadlines

Strong attention to details – Organization skills a MUST

Able to work normal business hours

Able to work in a typical business environment

Must be able to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Strong interpersonal skills. Effective oral and written communication skills

Ability to document processes/procedures

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Sit or stand at a desk/computer for long periods of time

Focusing on a computer screen for several hours at a time

Pay Scale: $20-$24/hr
