Position Summary
Company is seeking a bilingual Project Controls Analyst to support our growing operations in Brazil from the United States. This role is responsible for providing project controls, financial tracking, reporting, scheduling support, and operational analysis for projects executed throughout Brazil. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between U.S. leadership and Brazilian operations teams, ensuring accurate project performance monitoring, cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and fluent in both Portuguese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across international teams and cultures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze project performance, budgets, costs, labor utilization, and profitability for Brazil-based operations.
- Prepare and maintain project cost reports and forecasts.
- Review project expenditures and identify cost overruns, variances, and operational risks.
- Track project progress against schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational and financial reports.
- Coordinate with Brazil-based project teams to gather project updates, labor data, and financial information.
- Translate and interpret business communications, reports, and operational documents between Portuguese and English as needed.
- Ensure project data integrity across company systems and reporting platforms.
- Assist leadership in identifying trends, opportunities for improvement, and operational efficiencies.
- Support invoicing, revenue recognition, project setup, and project closeout activities.
- Develop and maintain project control procedures, reporting templates, and performance metrics.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide analytical support to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable contractual obligations.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project controls, project analysis, cost control, financial analysis, or a related operational role.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial analysis.
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Ability to work independently while supporting international teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience supporting international or Latin American operations.
- Experience with ERP, accounting, or project management systems.
- Familiarity with industrial services, construction, maintenance, inspection, engineering, or turnaround projects.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
