E-Commerce Associate
Houston, Texas | Full-Time

Overview

Join our dynamic e-commerce team as an E-Commerce Associate and be at the forefront of delivering exceptional online shopping experiences. In this energetic role, you will play a vital part in managing order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and shipping logistics to ensure our customers receive their products promptly and in perfect condition. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help drive our online success and elevate customer satisfaction. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operations, e-commerce processes, and distribution logistics within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management

Update website content across product pages, collections, and promotions
Manage product listings including titles, descriptions, pricing, and visuals to ensure accuracy and brand consistency
Coordinate with vendors or creative team to source and upload high-quality product images and assets

Order Fulfillment

Process daily orders across all sales channels with speed and accuracy
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently using RF scanners and order picker equipment
Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely to load, unload, and organize inventory
Process shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring all shipments are correctly labeled and dispatched using AS400 or similar systems
Utilize effective packaging techniques that protect products during transit
Handle returns, exchanges, damaged goods, and insurance claims from start to finish

Inventory Management

Monitor and manage inventory levels, flagging low stock and discrepancies
Manage stock levels by stocking shelves accurately and replenishing items using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
Utilize warehouse distribution knowledge to optimize space utilization and streamline picking and packing procedures

Customer Support

Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone in English and Spanish
Resolve order, payment, and shipping issues efficiently with empathy and professionalism
De-escalate complaints and turn negative experiences into positive ones

Analytics & Reporting

Monitor sales trends, site traffic, and product performance
Prepare regular reports on KPIs including conversion rate, order volume, and return rate
Identify insights and recommend actions to improve sales and customer experience

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
Prior experience working in retail or customer service
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot orders, payments, and customer concerns
High attention to detail for order processing, inventory management, and data accuracy
Strong time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stay positive and effective under pressure
Empathy and patience when handling customer issues
Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy and a clean workspace
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols including proper use of equipment
High school diploma or equivalent
Bilingual in Spanish and English

Nice-to-Have

Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, eBay, and/or WooCommerce
Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
Valid certification for forklift operation, reach truck, or pallet jack
Experience with shipping and receiving processes, RF scanners, AS400, and MRPs
Degree in business, marketing, supply chain management, business management, or a related field

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
