Job Summary

We’re on the lookout for an energetic and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you’ll be a key player in supporting kitchen operations, supervising food preparation, and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and safety. If you’re passionate about fine dining, experienced in managing kitchen teams, and eager to contribute to a vibrant culinary environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and excellence.
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing leadership and guidance to maintain smooth operations.
Oversee food production processes, including food handling, preparation, and presentation, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures.
Manage inventory control and assist with ordering supplies to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
Support catering events and banquet services by coordinating food preparation and presentation for large groups.
Enforce health and safety regulations across all kitchen activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment for everyone.
Collaborate with the restaurant management team on menu planning, cost control, and quality improvements.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production within fine dining or upscale restaurant settings; banquet and catering experience is highly desirable.
Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with strong leadership skills.
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory management, and cost control methods.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams as a chef while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
Excellent culinary skills with expertise in food handling, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead effectively and foster teamwork.
Previous experience in restaurant management or food service management is preferred but not required.
