We're a growing AV/IT integration operation serving residential and commercial clients across the greater Houston metro: Katy, Cypress, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, and beyond. Our work spans high-end home theater builds, commercial AV integration, structured wiring, business display systems, and everything in between.
We're looking for a skilled, self-sufficient contractor who takes pride in clean installs, sharp troubleshooting, and leaving every customer impressed. You bring your expertise, tools, and vehicle. We bring steady work, fast decisions, and zero bureaucracy.
This is a role for self-starters only. You'll assess the job, execute it professionally, and own the outcome, start to finish. If you need constant hand-holding, this isn't the right fit. If you thrive working independently and take pride in your craft, let's talk.

Average Pay Per Job: $90 – $150 | $60 minimum guaranteed per dispatch
What You'll Do
Install, mount, and configure flat-screen TVs, displays, video walls, projectors, and screens in residential and commercial settings
Set up surround sound systems, AV receivers, soundbars, and distributed/multi-room audio
Run and terminate low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT6, coax, speaker wire, component) through walls, ceilings, and attic spaces, cleanly and professionally
Install and configure AV control systems, video conferencing systems, and telecommunication infrastructure
Perform site surveys and pre-installation assessments
Diagnose and troubleshoot AV/IT hardware and software issues onsite: projectors, AV receivers, amplifiers, control systems, networking, and more
Manage cabling schematics and maintain compliance with low-voltage safety standards
Keep a clean, professional work site and communicate clearly with customers throughout every job
Complete accurate job documentation: service notes, photos, system configs, and maintenance logs
Travel between job sites across the Houston metro area
Requirements : You MUST Meet ALL of These
Experience
★ At least 18 years old
★ 1+ year of AV installation, low-voltage, or AV/IT field service experience
★ Must be able to mount to drywall, metal studs, brick, and stone, including above fireplaces and on tile
★ Experience running cables through walls, ceilings, and attic/crawl spaces cleanly
★ Hands-on familiarity with AV/IT schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
★ Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues across AV and IT systems
★ Physically able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and handle large-item installation
★ Comfortable on ladders and in tight spaces. Must be able to handle outdoor conditions when needed (outdoor installs are only ~3% of our volume)

★ 14 ft. reach aluminum multi-position ladder

Vehicle
★ Reliable SUV, truck, or van
★ Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record

Contractor Terms
1099 independent contractor, not W2
Paid per installation completed: avg. $90–$150 per job. Our best and fastest installers run 3–6 jobs per day. Larger commercial projects can span several days or even weeks of continuous work.
