Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will operate advanced medical imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist physicians in evaluating and diagnosing patient conditions. Your expertise will ensure accurate imaging procedures while maintaining the highest standards of radiation safety and patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your diverse skill set across multiple modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology. Your dedication will directly impact patient outcomes by providing precise imaging services in a variety of clinical settings, from emergency rooms to specialized diagnostic centers.

Responsibilities

Operate a wide range of radiologic imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT scanners, fluoroscopy units, PET scans, mammography machines, DEXA scanners, and ultrasound devices with precision and care.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam.
Follow strict radiation safety procedures and implement radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself during all imaging activities.
Conduct diagnostic evaluations across various medical specialties including emergency medicine, urgent care, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, and trauma centers—especially Level I and Level II trauma settings.
Assist with complex procedures such as interventional radiography and fluoroscopy-guided interventions while maintaining aseptic techniques.
Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality diagnostic results and accurate interpretation of images.
Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment maintenance logs in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Experience

Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI units, ultrasound devices, PET scans, mammography systems, DEXA scans, and nuclear medicine cameras.
Prior work in emergency room settings or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable to handle urgent cases efficiently.
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology relevant to radiology procedures and diagnostics.
Experience performing specialized imaging procedures including interventional radiology techniques and fluoroscopy-guided interventions.
Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection measures during all imaging activities.
Strong background in patient care practices—ensuring comfort, safety, and effective communication throughout the imaging process.
Ability to operate complex medical equipment safely while adhering to strict aseptic techniques for invasive procedures when necessary.
