Full Job Description

Sodexo is seeking an Office Manager to support a manufacturing client in Houston, Texas. This role oversees daily office operations, administrative processes, meeting coordination, vendor scheduling, and workplace support to ensure business continuity.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Responsibilities include document and records management, invoice processing, office supply coordination, mail services, and compliance support.

You'll be the trusted go-to for executive and operational support—ensuring seamless communication, efficient scheduling, and polished execution of critical administrative functions.

The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team.

Pay Range: $29.67 per hour - $38.39 per hour

Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to senior executives or leadership, managing diverse responsibilities with professionalism.
Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational standards.
Serve as a primary point of contact by screening and managing telephone calls, visitors, and communications effectively.
Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements with strong attention to detail.
Exercise independent judgment in interpreting policies, prioritizing tasks, and handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Supervise or guide lower-level administrative staff as needed, supporting office services, supplies, facilities, and space management.
Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality across all interactions.

Experience supporting senior leaders or teams in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for proofreading and editing
High level of discretion and sound judgment when managing sensitive information and shifting priorities
Proficiency in calendar and travel coordination, meeting logistics, and operational support
A collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across all levels while maintaining professionalism and poise

Requirements

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Management Experience: 0-3 years
Related Experience: 0-3 years
